Each team works together and draws from their strengths.
Penguins – 3 Year old Kinder

Friday 8.30am – 11.30am
Term Fees for the Penguin groups are $750
2019 Penguin Extended Hours Program
Tuesday 11.00am – 1.00pm
Friday 11.30am – 1.30pm
The extended hours program is $300* per term
The extended hours program is a continuation of the Penguin program, and is only available to families enrolled in the Penguin program. Enrollment is per term and includes extended hours on both days.
Casual bookings of the extended hours program is available in advance of the day and is charged at $35* per 2 hour session.
*This fee is in addition to the Penguin term fee.
Dolphins – 4 yr old Kindergarten

Wednesday 8:30am – 4:00pm

How to enrol in our Sessional Kindergarten Programs
- All applications for our Sessional Kindergarten are conducted through the Boroondara Kindergarten Central Enrolment Scheme (BKCES).

Once you have been offered a place at HEY by the Boroondara Council, a member of the HEY Office Team will contact you to arrange enrolment and Orientation. No children can commence before this has been completed.
To enrol at HEY you will be asked to complete:
- An enrolment pack consisting of enrolment forms, routine outings consent form, DebitSuccess form & fee payment agreement
- You will be required to pay the Term Fees upfront including a $100 maintenance Levy.
- You will also be asked to provide a copy of your child’s Childhood Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). This can be obtained on your MyGov Account or Medicare App. Please note: we cannot accept copies of the Immunisation Booklet. If your child has completed immunizations overseas, we ask that you contact the Boroondara Council Immunisation Service or General Practitioner (GP) to translate your immunisations and upload them into the Australian Immunisation Register. Once updated the AIR will supply you a copy of the Immunisation History Statement.
If you choose to withdraw your child after you have paid fees, you will be charged a $100 administration fee.
Adding Long Day Care Days:
Once enrolled in a HEY Sessional Kindergarten program, should you wish to attend additional Long Day Care (LDC) Days please contact the HEY front office team, who can discuss any current vacancies that may be available. If we are unable to fulfil your request of Long Day Care Days we would encourage you to join the LDC waitlist via this website. Please be aware that while some children thrive in different environments, not all children are suited to attend multiple programs/rooms, so we would request that you consider your child’s temperament and disposition before considering this option. Any concerns you have can be discussed with your child’s Teaching Team.
