Allocating Places at HEY

Located in a state-of-the-art custom built service, our educational spaces, both indoor and out, allow for maximum engagement from children.

We encourage children to explore, learn and build upon their individual interests.

HEY allocates Long Day Care places in line with the following priorities of access:

  1. Children who are currently attending the Service
  2. Employee’s children
  3. Siblings of children who currently attend the Service
  4. Children at risk of serious abuse or neglect
  5. A child of a single parent or parents who both satisfy the Child Care Subsidy activity test
  6. Any other child
Within these categories priority is also given to;

a. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
b. Children with diagnosed additional needs*

*Children with diagnosed additional needs, will be enrolled, if in the opinion of management the Service can meet the child’s needs. Additional resources and funding may be required.
